In this workshop, led by Vicki Garino, explore how Ayurveda views health through the lens of the whole person, body, mind, senses, and more, and how simple observations can tell us a lot about what’s going on beneath the surface. You’ll learn how the elements show up in the body, how imbalance begins, and why Ayurveda focuses so much on prevention rather than waiting until something is wrong.
This isn’t about strict rules or perfect habits. It’s about learning to notice, to understand patterns, and to make small, practical shifts, especially through food and daily routine, that support better digestion, steadier energy, and a clearer mind.
We’ll touch on seasonal living, with a focus on spring, and how to work with your body instead of against it.
You don’t need any background in Ayurveda to join. Just a willingness to be curious and maybe see yourself a little differently by the end.
Workshop includes Ayurvedic oil for foot massage and tongue scraper.

~Vicki Garino is a Board Certified Ayurveda Health Counselor, Yoga teacher (E-RYT 500), mindfulness teacher, and former studio owner/founder of Discover the Wonders Yoga (2012–2024). She studied Ayurveda at the Boston School of Ayurveda and completed her 500-hour yoga training at Sacred Seeds Yoga School. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education from UMass Lowell and a Master’s in Conducting from Southern Oregon University, and works full-time as a middle school band and choral director.
Vicki came to Ayurveda after years of digestive and skin issues, finding relief for the first time through simple, consistent dietary and lifestyle changes. That experience led her to deepen her studies and share these teachings with others in a practical, accessible way.
Her background in yoga and mindfulness informs her approach, but her work is grounded in Ayurveda as a system for understanding the body, preventing imbalance, and supporting long-term health. She is known for making these ancient teachings feel approachable, relevant, and realistic for everyday life.
Vicki offers workshops, classes, and one-on-one consultations focused on self-care, digestion, food, and daily routines that support balance. Her mission is simple: to help people understand their bodies and make small, sustainable changes that actually work.
