In this experiential session, we’ll be exploring the body as both a physical and energetic system — learning how to move with greater intelligence, awareness, and purpose. Through mindful movement and subtle awareness practices, we’ll focus on intelligently recruiting muscles to create a felt sense of stability and support.
At the same time, we’ll be attuning to the more subtle layers of the body, referencing the chakra and the bandha system to help you experience deeper connection to balance and embodiment. This session will include the use of therapeutic tools for muscle release, physical movement exercises, as well as incorporating guided meditation and breathwork.
Whether you’re coming back to movement after a pause or seeking a more conscious connection to your physical self, this class offers a gentle, insightful place to begin. Feel more grounded, more open, more connected—from the inside out.
This is an introductory workshop to a four week series Inhabiting a Balanced Body, which will be offered later this year.
